“Error Code 21 Cannot Start Giga Vault Storage” message from the tray / “Error in Starting Giga Vault Storage" message from Giga Vault Storage Tray Cause: These errors occur when the Giga Vault Storage tray is unable to start the Giga Vault Storage Application or the Service. The reason could be one of the following: The Giga Vault Storage Tray application doesn't have permissions to start the Giga Vault Storage Service. The Giga Vault Storage Application file is not available at the Giga Vault Storage Tray Applications path, i.e <Giga Vault Storage Home>\bin location. Another instance of Giga Vault Storage is already running in the machine. Resolution: Check if the Giga Vault Storage Tray Application is running in an user account who has privileges to start the Giga Vault Storage Service. Check if the Giga Vault Storage service's logon user has enough privileges to start Windows services. -
Check if any other Giga Vault Storage instance is already running in the system. You can verify this by checking for "Giga Vault Storage.exe" process in the 'Task Manager' tool. If there is already another instance running, try stopping that process and then starting it again.
